1. Restrictions et précautions

Si vous utilisez une connexion USB et que vous terminez l'installation de MF Scan Utility sans connecter l'appareil et l'ordinateur avec un câble USB, il est possible qu'un écran de sélection d'application s'affiche lorsque vous procédez à une numérisation à partir de l'appareil. Dans ce cas, indiquez une application en procédant comme suit pour que cet écran ne s'affiche plus.

1. Connectez l'appareil et l'ordinateur en utilisant un câble USB → allumez l'appareil.

2. Connectez-vous à l'ordinateur avec un compte administrateur.

3. Sélectionnez [Afficher les périphériques et imprimantes] à partir du [Panneau de configuration].

4. Cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur l'icône de votre appareil → cliquez sur [Propriétés de la numérisation].

5. Cliquez sur l'onglet [Événement] → sélectionnez [Démarrer] → sélectionnez [MF Scan Utility].

Si certaines de vos applications sont compatibles avec l'appareil que vous utilisez, vous pouvez les indiquer et les utiliser à la place de MF Scan Utility.

Si vous enregistrez une image numérisée en tant que fichier PDF prenant en charge la recherche par mot clé, vous pouvez améliorer la reconnaissance des caractères blancs sur fond sombre en respectant la procédure suivante lors de la numérisation.

1. Dans l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility, cliquer sur [Paramètres].

2. Dans la boîte de dialogue [Paramètres], cliquer sur l'icône [Document].

3. Sélectionner [Créer un fichier PDF prenant en charge la recherche par mot clé] dans [Enregistrer les paramètres] → cliquer sur [OK].

4. Dans l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility, cliquer sur l'icône [Document].

Si vous enregistrez une image numérisée dans un format PDF haute compression, il est possible qu'une partie de l'image soit vide si vous numérisez en cliquant sur [Document] dans l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility. Vous pouvez améliorer le résultat en utilisant la procédure suivante pour la numérisation.

1. Dans l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility, cliquer sur [Paramètres].

2. Dans la boîte de dialogue [Paramètres], cliquer sur une icône autre que [Document], telle que [Photo] ou [Personnalisé].

3. Sélectionner [PDF (Répartir dans les fichiers à page unique)]/[PDF] dans [Enregistrer les paramètres] > [Format données] → sélectionner [Elevée] dans [Compression PDF] → cliquer sur [OK].

4. Dans l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility, cliquer sur la même icône qu'à l'étape 2.

2. À propos des applications

Les fonctions permettant de joindre automatiquement un fichier à un courrier électronique prennent en charge les logiciels de messagerie électronique suivants :

Si votre logiciel de messagerie électronique prend en charge le standard MAPI, vous pouvez l'utiliser en sélectionnant, sur l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility, [Paramètres] > [Paramètres de l'application] > [Joindre à cour. élec.]/[Client de mess. électronique] > [Ajouter], puis en sélectionnant le fichier exécutable du logiciel de messagerie dans la boîte de dialogue [Sélectionnez une application].

Si vous utilisez un autre logiciel de messagerie électronique que ceux énumérés ci-dessus, sur l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility, sélectionnez [Paramètres] > [Paramètres de l'application] > [Joindre à cour. élec.]/[Client de mess. électronique] > [Aucun(e) (Joindre manuellement)], et joignez manuellement le fichier que vous avez enregistré après la numérisation.

Même si vous enregistrez une application de PAO telle que Microsoft Publisher ou Adobe PageMaker dans MF Scan Utility, il est possible que vous ne puissiez pas numériser des images. Si ce problème survient, procédez à la numérisation à partir de l'application ou insérez l'image.

Si vous cliquez sur une icône de l'écran principal de MF Scan Utility associée à une application, mais que cette dernière est déjà en cours d'exécution, il est possible que l'image numérisée ne soit pas transmise à l'application. Si ce problème survient, quittez l'application, puis cliquez de nouveau sur l'icône en question.
