Innhold

1. Begrensninger og forholdsregler

Hvis du bruker en USB-tilkobling og avslutter installering av MF Scan Utility uten å koble sammen enheten og en datamaskin med en USB-kabel, kan en skjerm for applikasjonsvalg vises når du skanner fra enheten. I et slikt tilfelle skal du angi en applikasjon i henhold til følgende prosedyre for å unngå at denne skjermen vises.

1. Koble enheten til datamaskinen med en USB-kabel → slå enheten på.

2. Logg på datamaskinen med en administratorkonto.

3. Velg [Vis enheter og skrivere] fra [Kontrollpanel].

4. Høyreklikk på ikonet for enheten → klikk på [Skanneregenskaper].

5. Klikk på [Hendelse]-kategorien → velg [Start dette programmet] → velg [MF Scan Utility].

Hvis du har applikasjoner som er kompatible med enheten du bruker, kan du angi og bruke en annen applikasjon enn MF Scan Utility.

Hvis du lagrer et skannet bilde som en nøkkelordsøkbar PDF-fil, kan du forbedre gjenkjenning av hvite tegn på mørk bakgrunn ved å skanne i henhold til følgende prosedyre.

1. I hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility klikker du på [Innst].

2. I dialogboksen [Innst] klikker du på [Dokument]-ikonknappen.

3. Velg [Opprett en PDF-fil som støtter nøkkelordsøk] i [Lagre innstillinger] → klikk på [OK].

4. I hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility klikker du på [Dokument]-ikonknappen.

Hvis du lagrer et skannet bilde i et PDF-format med høyt komprimeringsnivå, kan deler av bildet være tomt hvis du skanner ved å klikke på [Dokument] i hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility. Du kan kanskje forbedre resultatet ved å skanne i henhold til følgende prosedyre.

1. I hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility klikker du på [Innst].

2. I dialogboksen [Innst] klikker du på en annen ikonknapp enn [Dokument], f.eks. [Bilde] eller [Egendefinert].

3. Velg [PDF (del opp i enkeltsidefiler)]/[PDF] fra [Lagre innstillinger] > [Dataformat] → velg [Høy] fra [PDF-komprimering] → klikk på [OK].

4. I hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility klikker du på den samme ikonknappen du klikket på i trinn 2.

2. Vedrørende applikasjoner

Funksjonene for automatisk filvedlegg for e-post støtter følgende e-postprogramvarer.

Hvis programvaren er e-postprogramvare som støtter MAPI, kan du bruke den ved å velge [Innst] > [Programinnstillinger] > [Legg ved i e-post]/[E-postklient] > [Legg til] i hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility, og velge den kjørbare filen til e-postprogramvaren i den viste dialogboksen [Velg program].

Hvis du bruker en annen e-postprogramvare enn de som angis ovenfor, gå til hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility og velg [Innst] > [Programinnstillinger] > [Legg ved i e-post]/[E-postklient] > [Ingen (Legg ved manuelt)], og legg ved filen du lagret etter skanning manuelt.

Selv om du registrerer en DTP-applikasjon som Microsoft Publisher eller Adobe PageMaker i MF Scan Utility, kan det hende at du ikke får skannet bilder. Hvis dette skjer, skann fra applikasjonen eller sett inn bildet.

Hvis applikasjonen som er assosiert med tilhørende ikonknapp allerede kjører før du klikker på en ikonknapp i hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility, vil kanskje ikke det skannede bildet sendes til applikasjonen. Hvis dette skjer, skal du avslutte applikasjonen og deretter klikke på ikonknappen i hovedskjermen i MF Scan Utility på nytt.
